Kintsugi: A McGenji Charity Zine - PDF Version

Introducing Kintsugi: a McGenji Zine, celebrating the relationship of Genji Shimada and Jesse McCree from Overwatch.

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of mending broken pottery using lacquer resin laced with gold or silver. Breaks and repairs are treated as part of the object's history rather than something to be disguised.

Like the practice of Kintsugi, Genji and McCree have not only survived their hardships, but have grown, and their scars are something they should be proud of. Rather than facing shame, they can appreciate the beauty in each other’s cracks.

The zine is composed of 40 fanart, fan comic, and merchandise contributors, and we offer both digital and printed versions, as well as an optional merch bundle. The proceeds from this project are going to enablingthefuture, a charity that 3D prints prosthetics for children.
